How we built INCEPTI to help organisations improve their system of work
Learning from Practice
We come from complex, fast-moving organisations where change was a daily reality across technology, product, and delivery. Across different roles, we worked within, shaped, and evolved diverse systems of work. Over time, this gave us a shared perspective on what either hinders or enables organisations to grow, scale, and adapt in practice.
When we reconnected, it quickly became clear that these patterns were not specific to one organisation. Across industries, we kept seeing similar situations: execution struggling to move beyond intent, teams operating in silos , goals misaligned across functions, and decision-making spread in ways that slowed progress. Organisations are investing significantly in transformation, yet coherence and outcomes remains uneven.
That observation became the focus of many of our conversations. We revisited the challenges we had seen, the systems we had used and built, and the transformations we had been part of. It brought us back to a simple question: what kind of support do leadership teams need in these situations, and how could we deliver that to them?
By the end of 2025, we decided to act on it.

A Boutique Transformation Partner for Better System of Work
In January 2026, we ran a three-day working session to define the foundations of what became INCEPTI: our mission, our value proposition, our service journey, and the principles that guide how we work.
By March, INCEPTI was formally incorporated, marking the transition from shared intent to a committed partnership.
At the core of our work is a simple belief: organisations struggle when the way ideas are translated into execution lacks coherence. To help move from fragmented initiatives to integrated ways of working, we grounded our approach in four interconnected dimensions — Value, Flow, Quality, and Experience.
What became clearer through this process was how complementary we are: a catalyst that turns ambition into structured execution, an integrator that connects strategy, people, and systems, and a facilitator who brings clarity and discipline to complex environments.
As one of our clients put it, our impact comes as much from how we work together as from what we bring: making complex change understandable and actionable.

A Partnership of Practitioners for Sustainable Change
We built and run INCEPTI as a partnership of like-minded practitioners. Each of us brings experience, perspective, and craft, united by a shared commitment to better ways of working. We turn what we learn into practical approaches that leadership teams can apply and sustain.
Our ambition is to help organisations adopt and practice better ways of working, that fit their context, and are carried as much by people as by structure.
